| Portal e-barometr manual – how to use it ( 2008-12-08 09:31:07 ) |  The project titled A System to Fight Unemployment in Weakly Urbanized Areas, is being carried out under the framework PIW EQUAL by the College of Management and Administration in Zamość as project administrator in cooperation with several partners including: the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, CASE – Doradcy Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw, and the Association for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship in Rzeszów. The basic goal of the project is to support national employment policies and to implement innovative activities and tools for the labor market in the most weakly economically developed regions of Poland (the Lubelskie and Podkarpackie Provinces). Throughout the project information technology tools have been created – a portal for fore- casting threats to business as an e-barometer. This portal provides access to all businesses involved in the project to information of macro, mezo and micro-economic interest, including that of specifically prognostic analysis. It is an interactive system which provides both evaluation of conditions as well as generation of prognosis for the company’s situation in the future (at micro, mezo and macro-economic levels). An additional module at the micro-economic level of the portal is a benchmarking system which gives businesses the ability to compare their economic-financial situation with the average in their branch. | |  | | |
